Who We Are

Jeff Jones, a Jacksonville native and 1995 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School, has devoted over 25 years to the metal roofing industry. His career began from the ground up, starting as a helper before advancing to become a skilled sheet metal trade mechanic. In that role, Jeff mastered critical aspects of metalwork, from precise flashing to intricate tab folding, and quickly developed the expertise that has driven his success.

After excelling as a trade mechanic, Jeff took on the role of foreman, where he led teams of skilled sheet metal mechanics on hundreds of commercial and residential projects. In this leadership role, he oversaw complex installations, managed project timelines, coordinated materials, and ensured that each job met stringent quality standards. His experience spanned various project types, from large-scale commercial builds requiring intricate detailing to custom residential work that demanded precision and aesthetic alignment. Jeff’s commitment to both technical accuracy and team morale created a productive and supportive work environment, and his expertise in managing both people and projects continues to define his approach at AMF.

Since joining AMF over six years ago, Jeff has been instrumental in elevating our production and custom fabrication capabilities. As Production Manager and Senior Custom Metal Fabrication Estimator, Jeff’s attention to detail and dedication to precision have guided the completion of over $5 million in custom metal fabrication products. His hands-on leadership in the shop ensures that each project, from intricate architectural pieces to large-scale commercial components, meets AMF’s rigorous quality standards.

Outside of responsibilities, Jeff is a passionate Florida Gators football fan, never missing a chance to support his team and revel in the excitement of every game. His enthusiasm for the sport mirrors his dedication to craftsmanship; just as he cheers on the Gators, Jeff brings that same drive and loyalty to his work at AMF. With over 25 years in the industry and a reputation for excellence, he is committed to delivering precision and quality in every project.
